June 29th, 2010 marks the momentous day that she finally lost her very first tooth!
I had been reminding her to jiggle it everyday and I saw that it was hanging by a mere thread. Soooo, being the terrible mother that I am, convinced her that I could wrap some dental floss around it to "tug" on it a bit.
Do you see where I'm going with this?!
Ya know...help it a little.
"Just a teeny tiny tug" I told her.
I tugged once...slightly...like promised, but the second time around [he he], I
I was part of this moment. I didn't miss it! We were together! I saw it happen!
blessed!
So after our FPU class Tuesday night, even I was excited to start the evening. I had been thinking about what to do ALL day. Payton set up a fairy table, chair, and snack for her tooth fairy.
There is a very real preparation that MUST take place for a Tooth Fairy, ya know! Must dot all our "I's" and Cross all our "T's" so that our tooth fairy is well taken care of.
You see, she was feed....marshmellows
She had a chair to sit on...
There were even two notes written to her. One read "Coffe for my daddy"...and Daniel thought he was going to get coffee....AHAHAHAHAHAHA
.......and the other "I love the toth fere"

The next morning when Payton woke up, this is what she woke up to. A cup of "pink" water with fairy dust was sitting on her dresser where the tooth fairy had washed and polished her tooth. She was soooo excited about Payton's tooth that she danced and twirled soooo much that she left pixie dust all over her dresser. She left a note inside a beautiful procelain gift that would keep her next teeth nice & safe. $3 and some dried up flowers were left under her pillow to reward her for having such pretty white clean teeth.

She analyzed every aspect of that morning. She swore she saw fairy footprints in her room!

And now....my 6 year old baby girl has a tiny window on her bottom set of pearly whites. I can honestly say I'm looking forward to the others!
Taken just moments after we pulled it out....
