We're going Downtown!

Last minute I decided that we would head to Downtown Richmond today.  In the 10 years that I've lived here, I have never really been in "downtown".  I've passed through it, I've driven near it, I've even eaten just outside of it, but never did I get out my car and see how precious and quaint this little town is.  In fact, it reminds me a lot of my little hometown, St. Bernard Parish, except with a little Texas country charm.  I felt like I hit a Goldmine of backgrounds!  Everything I wanted within a few yards of each other.  Ugh...I wish my little Mischa would have cooperated more, but I was limited.  Let me just state for the record [and my dear Mischa....this is for you...]

Mischa + Photoshoot = Muchisimo Trabajo!

God has given me patience with my Mischa...sometimes it hangs by a thread, but I do have it!  She was determined not to give me the shots today.  She wouldn't smile, she cried most of the beginning UNTIL The Lord heard my plea and sent a TRAIN our way!  Totally bewildered and impressed by the sound...the crying stopped and I could take my pictures.  Sorta wished I got a smile, but heck...whatever, I got what I wanted....her personality!

My goal was to come here to prepare for a family shoot.  I wanted to see what Richmond offered and I was more than pleased.  Check out our photoshoot....









Let me just pause right here...Do you see this kitty? Yes, it's real. We spent nearly 30 minutes trying to leave because of her! She entertained the heck out of Mischa. The kitty was short of coming through the glass to get to her. Love at first sight! Our kitty shots...

Ohhhh how tempting it was to buy buy buy....but I refrained!
